Request Data Deletion

Last updated: September 13, 2026

ParentLINK does not create your account itself — your school does, when it enrols your child and links you as a guardian, or when it hires a teacher or staff member. Because of that, your school is the personal information controller of your records under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173); JedRey IT Solutions, which builds and operates ParentLINK, is the personal information processor acting on the school's instructions. See our Privacy Policy for the full explanation of these roles.

You have the right to request that your personal data be corrected or erased. There are two ways to do that — use whichever is easier for you.

1. Ask your school

Contact your child's school registrar or data protection officer directly and ask them to request deletion of your (or your child's) ParentLINK records. Because the school controls the underlying data, this is usually the fastest route, and it is the one your school's own privacy notice should describe.

2. Ask us directly

Email jedrey.it@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request", telling us:

We will confirm your identity with your school before acting on the request, since we cannot verify who you are on our own — the school can. We will let you know once it is done.

What gets deleted, and when

A request that concerns your own account is actioned as soon as we have confirmed it with your school. Separately, if a school's ParentLINK subscription ends entirely, the school receives a full export of its records and everything is permanently deleted from our systems within 60 days, except where retention is required by law.

Questions about any of this can go to the same address, or through our Contact page.
