Security and compliance schools can stand behind.

ParentLINK is built so a school can put its name on it — with student data handled the way a registrar, a principal, and the Data Privacy Act all require.

1

Encryption everywhere

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Backups are encrypted the same way.

2

Scoped access, by design

A parent account only ever reaches their own child's records. Teachers see only their own classes.

3

RA 10173 by design

Designed to support compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012. The school stays the data controller; we process only on its instructions.

4

Full audit trail

Every announcement, message, and record change is logged — the school can always account for what happened.

Data ownership

Your school's data belongs to your school.

We never sell student or parent data, and we don't use it for advertising. If a subscription ends, the school receives a full export and the data is deleted from our systems within 60 days.

Roles

Three roles, three levels of access.

  • Admins manage their own school's records and accounts.
  • Teachers see only the sections they teach.
  • Parents see only their own linked children.

Have a data privacy officer who wants the details?

We're glad to walk your school's DPO through our data flow, retention policy, and sub-processor agreements.
